St. Michaels Final Service

On Sunday, September 30, 2007, St. Michaels held it's final regular service after nearly 50 years in Cascade. Canon William Spaid represented Bishop Gepert in joining with the parishioners of St. Michaels and The Church of the Holy Cross, Kentwood, in a combined service before the two parishes officially join together.

Quilts for the Rez
Each year, Sara Homeyer helps us create quilt tops to cover the beds our missionaries built at the Pine Ridge Reservation. She pays to have them beautifully and imaginatively quilted, then brings them in the Sunday before the mission trip to be blessed. They hang on the altar rail all during the Eucharist. These are the August 2007 quilts (and missionaries).

Matt Potts Ordination to Priesthood
