Seeing Christ in all people means we welcome and seek to serve those who live in our neighborhoods and those who live in greater Kent County; those who are members and those who are not; those who are not as affluent as we and those who are; those who come from different ethnic groups than we; those who moved here from different regions of the world; those who may be married, those who are single, or those living in committed partnerships; those with or without children. We are an open and welcoming community seeking to serve those who show up as well as those who never show up. We serve, powered by God's love and perspective.
For the Son of Man himself did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

Our Identity
Holy Cross Church strives to be a welcoming, caring and accepting community of believers who is committed to living Christ's Gospel. We embrace our Anglican heritage and our worship follows the traditional Episcopal liturgy, incorporating music and celebration of family experiences. Members actively nourish the needs of our church family, and our support of numerous outreach activities reflects our commitment to ministries important to parish members. We seek to follow Jesus’ commandment to love one another in both parish and community outreach.
